The Holiday Rush.

Well there are very few things in this world that just wear me out. One is going and getting the girls Christmas photos done. Poor Brandon it is a good thing that he has lots of patience! My girls were crazy and cranky half way through it. They did really well individually but not so hot together. Today Caitty had the whole Kaci has the "plague" idea. She can't be in a three mile radius. So of course the day you go to get pictures done Caitty is doing every thing that she wants and acting like her sister is made of acid and if they touch she will DIE. Any way I guess that is how life goes though some times. To look at the pictures go to www.yulephoto.com and look under gallery for Walk Christmas.

The other thing that wears me out is making Christmas goodies. You have to be quick around here or Caitty will eat all the cookie dough both in the container and on the tray. But if you think that once the Cookie is cooked you are in big trouble. She waits behind you as you pull them out and will take then right off the tray. One for her and one for the dog. Needless to say you make a lot of cookies and Caitty ends up not getting sick. But the dog ends up gaining a lot of weight. The poor fatty.

Well Joel and I had decided earlier this year that there was this family in the ward that might need a little extra help with "Santa". Cause we all know that some times Santa needs a few good elves. :) . Any way we had decided to take some stuff to them tonight and leave a little note saying that Santa's slay was full and that he needed a little extra room and that they couldn't open the gifts until Christmas morning. Well Joel's knee has been giving him some problems with the cold weather and he was the elf that got drafted into doing the door bell ditch. Poor guy was running like his life depended on it. Even though the side walks are pretty bad around here he managed to make it back to the truck laughing the whole way. I don't think I have ever seen some one try to run really fast while looking at his feet (try to imagine a speed walker and that is pretty close to what it looked like). It made the hectic picture taking session earlier that night worth it.

After that we took the last batch of goodies to our friends in their new home. Well Joel and me were looking around the house when the friends little chihuahua, otherwise known as a small rat, bit Joel on the back of the calf. It was so funny because none of us knew that the little thing was hiding behind the door. For some reason that little rat hates Joel with all three of its remaining life's. Well just in case any one of you was worried about Joel, the dog didn't draw blood but it gave him a good bruise, a small bruise the size of a chihuahua's mouth.

Any way we hope every one is ready for Christmas and not feeling to rushed or running around to much. Hope that every one has a wonderful Christmas and great new year.
