Christmas news letter 2011

Hello Everyone,

So Christmas has once agian snuck up on me and boy am I racing to get a few things done. I am so late trying to get Christmas cards out I decided to write a little note for our family and friends to see.

This year has seemed to fly by quite fast. As a family we got to welcome home my brother from serving his mission for the church in Tennesse. It was nice to see him after two years. The girls enjoyed the escalater at the airport and it seemed to provide Kaci with some intertainment as she waited for Uncle Ty's plane.

In the summer we had a little scare. Our baby girl tried to come a little early at 27 weeks. So while I got put on bed rest the girls got to go to Fruitland and spind some time with Grandparents and Uncles and Aunts. We were very greatful that our families were able to help us out and take them for a whlie and it was nice for the girls to be able to spend some time with family.

Caitlyn turned 5 in January and later in August she started kindergarten. It was a little hard on mommy for her to start and a little rough on her for a while. Things started to go better after mommy and daddy went to school to help them learn alittle bit more about Caitlyn and set her schedual. Once her schedual was set she is doing really well. Her P.E. teacher is hoping to start and elementry track and field team and make Caitlyn one of the runners. He really seems to enjoy how well of a runner Caitlyn is and how much she enjoys P.E. She has a "talk box" that helps her to communicate with her teachers and peers and at home she uses it to read or play games. At school she also has an I-Pad which she runs better then the teachers. She is injoying all the work but the social part of school is still hard on her.

Kaci turned three in July and started preschool in Septermber. She has struggled with going to school sence she isnt much of a morning person, but now with her meds she is sleeping a little more at night and starting to kind of cetch on at school. She was diagnoised with moderate autism in october. So now we are trying to make sure that like her big sister Caitlyn she is getting all the early intervention that we can for her. Her laungauge is improving a little bit even though I am really tiered of being told no for every thing but her ability to count to three and sing every Disney song to Snow White is amazing. She is starting to enjoy Dinasoure books and painting even though most of it ends up on her face.

In October we welcomed a new addition to our family. Another beautiful baby girl, Piper Alex Walk. She was born on October 11th which happens to be Joel and mine annerversery. She had giving us quite a few problems but came into this world heath and has been a great little baby. Kaci is starting to enjoy her and Caitlyn is finally talerating her.

hope every one has a wonderful Christmas.
