Every year my mom's family rents a cabin at Island Park Idaho. We go and hang out eat food and snow mobile. This year there was 13 little kids in a four story cabin. and boy could they run up and down those stairs. Don't ask me to name them all cause I couldn't. But hey it was lots off fun. We were there sat, sunday and then we left monday. It snowed sat and some of the day sunday. Grandma and Aunt Vive got stuck in the snow trying to get to church while the rest of us sinners were eating breakfast.

COUCH MONSTER.

Well today we found out that we have a "Couch Monster". Kaci is trying to crawl around but she is only going back wards. Today she found out that if you get to close to the couch you will get sucked under by the couch monster and it wont let you go!! She was so mad that she couldn't get out.

On a side note the girls had well child checks. Caitty now weighs 36 lb and is 39 1/2 inch tall. Kaci is 20lb and one ounce and 26 inches. My girls are growing.

And the the picture of the girls together was taken today. Every one had a good day. Caitty did good at CRC and Kaci was excited cause she got to spend time with Dad.

Super Bowl Party 09

AHAHA !!

We decided to have a super bowl party with our friends Sha and Brandon Yule. Now keep in mind no one really cared who won, we were mostly interested in the commercials. Well before the party started Joel realized that for some reason Dish Network had taken off our local channels when they had Joel fix the cable over the phone. We have to have people come out any way and they get the lovely privilege of coming all the way to Worland from Utah. HAHAHA that is what you get for being jerks!!!!! Any way so Joel spent a hour on the phone getting mad because they wanted to charge him extra for his local channels which was never a deal in the first place. Any way needless to say we got to see kick off just in time and Joel got the people a little scared of him. So Joel was routing for the Cardinals and Brandon was routing for the Steelers just to go against Joel. As for me and Caitty were hoping to see the potato head commercial again!!! And Sha was just happy to hang out with Kaci on the floor. And then there was Shadow who believed he should be in every ones lap and on my couch. Stupid dog!!

Mirror

The Mirror has seem to have become Caitty's new best friend. This is her kung-fu panda move. She tried to round house kick me as I was snapping pictures. And yes there is window markers on my mirror at the time, we like to write on the mirror some days. Oh and she stole her Dad's sunglasses when he came home from work one night. Nothing like wearing sunglasses at night. "I wear my sunglasses at night so I can......"

One night as I was cleaning up I decided to let Caitty watch one more backyardigans before we read and get ready for bed. I put it on one of them when they are pretending to be pirates. The song they sing is called the "scalawag the dance that pirites do"... I had no clue that Caitty had cought on to some of the words so as she is dancing you can hear her try to say "scalawag" and the words that she knows like go, down, and up. It is kind of cute. And I thought that it was kind of funny that she is doing it in front of the mirrior. Sorry about the begining, there are some times where the camera comes out and she goes and hides or stops or pouts like you are taking all the fun away, so I am trying to hid in the kitchen and do the recording.

Rolls

We were being crafty for a super bowl party and making Great Grandma Ottley's well known rolls (don't look like them but they still tasted good). Caitty was nice enough to dump the flour in for me and then would eat the uncooked roll. yummy.

Rice

One of the sensory things that Caitty likes to do is play with rice. Its fun to her but work to clean up for the mom. Oh well.....
