Easter Morning
Here are the girls this morning looking at their Easter baskets. Unfortunately neither one of them are feeling very well. Caitty says her stomach hurts and doesn't want to do any thing other than drink and Kaci is getting her two year molars and a very stuffy/runny nose from it. But they are troopers and started to have a little fun. Thank you to the Grandparents for the cute outfits and dresses.

New Puppy
We got a new puppy. And it doesn't have a name yet. He and Shadow aren't seeing eye to eye at the moment because Shadow doesn't want to share the attention at least not the attention Caitty gives.
Caitty and the puppy had a little conflict when he stole pooh bear from her hands but she quickly learned how to steal him back and to put him high enough were the puppy couldn't get him. At the moment that place is on top of the back of the couch.
Kaci doesn't much care for the puppy at the moment. She thought it was great having him sit in the box in between the car seats on the way home and liked him up to the point of when he nipped at her. I have never seen her hit any one or thing until then. She clocked him pretty good and sense then he gives her a wide berth. it was really hard not to laugh and tell her that she can't hit the puppy. Then she growled at me and when to play with her baby in another room.
Easter Eggs 2010
Well here we are dyeing Easter eggs at home this year. It is the first time we have done Easter on our own.
We picked to dye eggs today so Joel could dye some too. He is famous for dying eggs with the cross hairs over the Easter bunny. Yeah got to love that man! He was having just as much fun as the girls were.
And amazingly enough no one really got dye every were or thought to drink it. Caitty and Joel's hand got some on there. I am just waiting to hear what the boy's though of it!
Welcome home Brandon.

Ice cream
I gave the girls the last of the ice cream tonight after dinner for eating all of their dinner. Needless to say it is Kaci's first cone. She usually just gets ice cream in a bowl so tonight was interesting for her. And just a little backwards. She didn't want to touch the cold ice cream with her lips so she ate the bottom of the cone first then started picking the cone apart and scooping out the ice cream and then she finally got brave and ate ice cream like the rest of us. Poor Kaci but she really started liking it at the end and was in need of a serious scrub down. Aah memories.
