Well Caitty is now a big four year old. Can't believe it! She had school yesterday so we got to make cup cakes for class and they sang her happy birthday. I loved it when the kids parents came to pick them up and they said to their parents 'today was a good day because it was that girls birthday and we got cup cakes". Kids are so cute. We went for a little drive and then to pizza hut with dad for lunch cause caitty "loves pizza". It is one of the few words that are crystal clear. Then came home and opened up a few gifts. Her and Kaci love the little babies from Grandma Netty. They have decided that they can each touch one and not the other. Caitty wont let Kaci touch the yellow one and if she goes for it she gives her the blue one. And we played the matching game. It took me a while to punch out the cards but she is having fun. Even if they don't match she hides them and then takes their match once they are found even if it isn't her turn. But we will get their. She got balloons from Grandma Walk and Papa and boy I wish I had a camera with me when we first answered the door. All she would say to the lady was "balloons" with big old eyes and shaking in hopes that the lady would just stop talking and give them to her. they how ever have cause some fights. Kaci popped one and thinks she should walk around with them when Caitty doesn't want her around them. I am thinking i am going to have to go to Blairs and get a few cheap ballons to stop the fighting. Then today Caitty got this cute purple little lab top and insist that is sits at the computer table with our little lab top and types right along side you the multiplication and spell the word right games are a little hard for her but I think she is starting to figure out that you can change the games. She got the cutiest wall hangings from Aunt Yucky yesterday and today has brought me the hammer twice to put them up so I am going to have to stop slacking and get on that. Thanks you to every one for making Caitty's birthday so special.

No bake cookies.

I made no bake cookies the other day and was in a hurry so I just plopped them down in one big cookie pan mass. Well as I was off reading with Caitty and helping her, some one else helped herself to the cookies and Shadow was waiting for scraps. They are such a good team together aren't they?!

Caitty in Hats

Caitty loves hats and the more the merrier. Here she has six on her head at one time. I often wonder how many she could wear at one time but for now she can wear six which is all we have in the house. I guess I should let Joel collect some more.

Oops

Well one night I wasn't making dinner fast enough for Kaci so I put her in the high chair and gave her a snack so I could continue dinner. When I turned around she was out cold. But her being asleep didn't stop Caitty from helping me clear off the table for dinner. Ah memories.

Grandma Netty made us matching pj's for Caitty and Kaci for their Christmas gift and boy are they cute. If only I could get them to smile for a picture.

Snow Days

It has been snowing off and on this month so we have been trying to get Kaci use to the snow and wearing mittens. Well she doesn't like wearing the mittens all that much and so when she touches the snow and realizes it is cold she cries like you just shot shadow. It makes me and Joel laugh for a little bit then we feel bad for her. Maybe one day she will learn the importance of mittens. As for Caitty she still loves the snow. One day her and dad had to trudge off to school in about 3 inches of new snow. It is the picture of them walking out of the door. She went to school really slow that day. She likes to step in all the areas were there isn't any tracks in the snow and when it is fresh snow it could be a slow moving day.

Kaci Coloring

Kaci coloring. I learned to only give her two coloring crayons and she wont eat them.... yeah she likes crayons, and no she doesn't have a favorite color to eat.

Caitty's Fish

Caitty loves her fish and the best part is she can't over feed them. Like the last ones she had when as a family we learned that Oreo cookies and gold fish don't mix well.

New Dresses

Here are the girls in some cute new dresses. The best part of having girls is all the pretty dresses! Oh and then screaming bloody murder when you put them on and then once they are on them not having a tear in their eyes or a care in the world! :)
